Quiksilver’s Blank Canvas initiative invites artists from around the world to leave their mark on their most iconic item: The Original Boardshort. Hawaiʻii-based Gregg Kaplan created a collection that blends the rich history of the island's art with his D.I.Y punk aesthetic.

To celebrate the collection, a VIP event was held on January 19th, 2023 at Kaiao Space with an installation of Kaplanʻs newest works with pupus by Maui-based chef, Sheldon Simeon, and paired wines by master sommelier Chuck Furuya. Mahalo to Waiakea for keep our guests hydrated!
